Trina Hoy asked us to call 267-6311 to get a nomina-tion form for Person of the Year awards from the Chamber of Commerce.
Lt. Gov. Jim Reeve invited us to the District Meeting on Oct. 29 & 30 at the Warsaw Ramada.
Jane Greene asked us to bring our calendars next week. We will start signing up to work the Santa House. This year it is downtown the 1st weekend of December & at K-Mart the next 2 weekends. Thanks to Art Gakstatter & his helpers for moving it twice as often this year.
John Teevan reported the College Optimist Club will sell calendars for around $7 in November.
Past Pres. Bob Jackson & Jim Kessler announced this year’s Hoops For Hope tournament will be Nov 12 & 13 at the Orthopaedic Capital Center. Sponsor-ships are available at the $500, $250, & $100 levels. Donations are also accepted at the gate. Funds stay in our community through the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund.

Art Gakstatter is looking for help with the downtown Spooktackular, Oct. 29. Help is needed for various jobs from 5pm through the evening. Activities are: registration 5:30pm to 6pm, trick or treat 6pm to 7pm, costume judging 7pm to 7:30pm. Please call Art at 265-1010.
Ron Chambers invited us to visit the Middlebury club on Friday, Nov 5. He is leaving The Bowling Alley at 5:50am.
President Joel Wihebrink invited most of us to wear costumes at next week’s meeting.
Luke Becknell asked us to bring our canned goods & donations the 2 weeks prior to Thanksgiving.
Merl Heckaman will have a sign-up sheet for ringing the bell for Salvation Army. Our day is Nov. 27.
Past Pres. George Brennan invited us to the CASA Wine Tasting fundraiser Nov 12 at the Biomet Hanger.
Sergeant-at-Arms: Jeff Owens, Max Mock, Denny Andrews & Dr. David Haines entertained us. Jane Greene is engaged. Chris Wiggins is a proud father. Dr. Charlie Hollar was able to get back into the coun-try. Several members were in the paper for doing good. Several others are back from a hunting trip.

Program: Dr. Ron Manahan, President of Grace College brought us up to date. Grace has reviewed all programs. As a result they are starting an exciting program that will allow students to graduate in 3 years with a bachelors degree!
