Announcements – We need Members to purchase $25 Member Sponsorships for City of Lakes Car Show May 26, 2024. Triathlon June 22 and Golf outing Sept 10^th still need corporate sponsors.

Membership – Kris Williams answered his second question about his family for membership consideration. Lois Borkholder was inducted by past president Everett Nifong. Her sponsor Angie Tom stood by her side. 

Birthdays – Happy Birthday to Mark Marley, Art Gakstatter, Sarah Masterson and Austin Rhodes. 

Membership Moments – Kyrie Maierle was interviewed by Brittany Lyon and Jim Smith. She instructed us in the correct pronunciation of her name Ker-ree-yay. She told us about her business Pretty & Poppin’ Balloon décor. 

Sergeants – Angie Tom was fined for wearing an incorrect nametag. Members counted how many implants they had in preparation for the orthopedic presentation. Dave Turner and Gary Tanner had the most. 

Check Presentation – Kosciusko County Soccer League was given $1,000 and Ryan Burger was in attendance to receive it. 

Program – Marlene Betances of EnPak LLC was our presenter today. John Armacost introduced her. Enpak was founded in 2011 and does packaging and labeling specialties for orthopedic companies. Marlene wants to “create a Warsaw Ecosystem which supports new ideas.” She believes that “Enpak is the conduit for that ecosystem in the support of med-tech start-ups.”
