50/50 – $30 to Gary Tanner
Sergeants – Members were once again harassed by being fined $1.00 for bogus reason. Members were asked to provide “burning” questions for the Optimist Board of Directors. There were questions leveled to graduates and adjunct faculty of both Ivy Tech and Grace College comparing the two schools.

Black History Month Presentation: The community is invited to join Ivy Tech Community College Warsaw in celebrating Black History Month with a special presentation by Dr. Marvin Curtis titled “Lift Every Voice.”
It’s happening Feb. 21 at Miller Hall (2545 Silveus Crossing) from 1 to 2 p.m.
“Lift Every Voice” will follow Curtis’ incredible story and share a message of empowerment that everyone in the community is welcome to hear, according to a news release from Ivy Tech. To register, email Tony Booker at abooker46@ivytech.edu
