Program:  Rob Parker the President and CEO of the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce presented about Feed My Starving Children Program this morning.  They really need more donations (PO Box 1802 Warsaw, IN 46581) so they can accept more registrations to pack more food for the children.  Thank you for sharing Rob!

Committee Reports/Announcements:

  • David Robertson is looking for help on 9/30 at Harrison Elementary from 9am-2pm with Back 2 the Days.
  • Gina Voelz announced Art In The Park will be held on 9/24 from 10am-1pm at Center Park.  Which is also her birthday!  Please let her know if you are available to help out.
  • YAP Clothing Drive-Jen Kerns announced.
  • Red Out September-wear Red Optimist shirts.
  • Continue to keep Mickey Smethers and Don Kenipe in your prayers as they recover from surgery and a fall.
  • Optimist Singers will be performing next Thursday, September 29th at the MOCC at 7pm along with about 1,000 performers to celebrate the Bicentennial.

 

Check Presentation:  Jeff Owens presented Doug Ogle a check in the amount of $200 for the Tiger Basketball Team to help support their Golf Outing this weekend.
