Prayer List: Bill Hilliard is treated 3 days on followed by 3 weeks off. He was in 10/15. He has had 3 of 6 cycles. Daniel Elliott has had 17 of 30 Alphaferron treatments. He is having side effects. However his arm mobility is back. Gene & Maxine Groninger are home. Gene’s new phone is 989-488-7079. Maxine’s is 989-488-0454. Steve McGlothin’s wife Nancy had her knee replaced Oct 13.

Jim Reeve reported we can sign up next week for Christmas Tree Sales. After that we will be assigned spots. We are selling 300 trees at Sorg Nissan this year. We will unload trees at 7am 11/26.
Art Gakstatter asked for help with our Spooktakular Oct 30. Over 1000 kids are expected. Help is needed from 5pm on. Art presented Cindy Dobbins from WCDC a $300 check for expenses.
Lt. Gov. Jim Reeve invited all to the quarterly meeting Nov 7 from 8:30am to 2:30pm at Don Hall’s Guest House where classes to help our club will be held. Let Jennifer Dorman know if you are going.
Luke Becknell asked us to bring money & canned food the 1st 3 weeks of November for our Salvation Army food drive. We are competing with Rotary & Kiwanis.
Safe Assured ID: Trace Hansen reported 37 enrol-lees last Saturday. He also thanked those who worked the event.
Pres. Sam Whitaker announced our Salvation Army bell ringing day is Dec 19.
Sheriff Bill Landrigan called several missing mem-bers last night. MOST of them came today! Super job to Bill and everyone who came. Everyone should call Mike Hall at 527-7775 to invite him.
Sergeant-at-Arms: Lyle Enyeart, John Barrett, & Jay Tate entertained us as they collected money from us. They cleared up that they do not do badges. We en-joyed the fellowship of our Ohio & Purdue fans. Dave Meier was able to land an 8 pound walleye without much help from his brother. John Teevan asked for prayer for the tense environment at the Michigan City Penitentiary. Those who did not wear their life jackets this summer were fined,

Program: Indiana Lottery
Jean Northenor, Chair of the Lottery Commission; Kathryn Densborn, Lottery Executive Director; & Andrew Reed, Director of Public Relations educated us on the lottery. Lotteries helped fund the Revolu-tionary War. In the 1850s some scam artists ruined them. The modern lottery is based on integrity.
Stacey Cox saluted: Chris Hawkins, sponsored by Ron Donkers owns C-Hawk Concrete. Bill Landri-gan, sponsored by Bill Hilliard, educated kids for 41 years, including a few ―busy young men‖. Bill has been a Sergeant-at-Arms & is now our Sheriff of At-tendance. Bill has 15 grandchildren & 2 great grand-children. Bill is active in Right to Life & Knights of Columbus. Stacey needs stories on Merl Heckaman & Jay Tate for next week.
