CEO Report (Club Essential Optimists):
Jenna Secrist announced John Elliot.
John Elliot has been an Optimist Member since 1973 with 40 years perfect attendance.
- He has been married for 46 years, he has 4 kids and 8 grandchildren and no pets. He is the Vice President & Trust Officer at 1st Source Bank. He enjoys golfing. Something we don’t know about John is he was on the Ohio State marching band. He resides in Winona Lake and has for 8 years. His key to success is doing things well even if it is something small, do it and do it well! One of his fondest Optimist memories was at Christmas time when some of the members dressed like “angels” or “hairy fairies.”
Committee Reports:
- Spooktakular-Friday, October 24. Talk to Art Gakstatter if interested in volunteering.
- 2014-2015 budget 25% increase in donations was approved by the board. Bottom line we are going to give away more this year, which means we need to work together and raise more funds this year!
