Prayer List: Bill Hilliard is treated 3 days on followed by 3 weeks off. He is in this week until 10/15. This is the 3rd of 6 cycles. Daniel Elliott has had 6 of 30 in-terferon treatments. He is having side effects. He is also having some issues with muscle recovery in his arm. Gene & Maxine Groninger are home. Gene’s new phone is 989-488-7079. Maxine’s is 989-488-0454. Steve McGlothin’s wife Nancy had her knee replaced Oct 13.

Safe Assured ID: Trace Hansen asked for help at the Taste & Trade Expo at the Orthopaedic Capital Center on Oct 17 from 10am to 4pm. Trace needs volunteers for couple hour shifts. Email Trace at Tracesk8s@yahoo.com .

Martin Becker reminded our Optimist Singers to ar-rive at the Orthopaedic Capital Center at 6pm on Oct 16 for the Taste & Trade Expo.
Lt. Gov. Jim Reeve invited all to the district meeting Wed, Oct 21 at 6:30pm at Richard’s Restaurant. All are also invited to the quarterly meeting Nov 7 from 8:30am to 2:30pm at Don Hall’s Guest House where classes to help our club will be held.
Jim Reeve reported we can sign up the next 2 weeks for Christmas Tree Sales. After that we will be as-signed spots. We are selling 300 trees this year.
Pres. Sam Whitaker reported our board awarded Jim Hayes Lifetime membership, gave $300 to Spooktakular, $250 to CASA, $100 to Oratorical Contest, $300 to Santa House supplies.
Sheriff Bill Landrigan called several missing mem-bers last night. MOST of them came today!
Sergeant-at-Arms: Lyle Enyeart, & John Barrett en-tertained us as they continually fined each other in error. Greg Ummel is a new grandfather. Fred Nieter has a new great granddaughter. Bill Hilliard visited with high school friends on a trip to North Carolina. Mitch Goon’s & Doug Ogle’s kids did very well in cross country. Meridith Hollar made a soccer goal that helped her team make it to the sectional.

D.A.R.E. Officer Joe Hawn reported D.A.R.E. has been in Warsaw for 20 years. D.A.R.E. helps kids have a chance to stay off drugs. Warsaw D.A.R.E. has worked with 6th graders. This year they are also working with 8th graders. The relationships are key.
Stacey Cox saluted Mary Ellen Jordan, (Triathlon registration, past President, Lt. Governor) who caught fire selling Christmas Trees & Dr. David Haines (past Optimist of Year, President, Dist. Lt. Gov., Dist. Indiana Optimist of Year, Indiana District Humanitarian) who led a group carrying canoes up hill to a dry lake. Stacey needs stories on Bill Landri-gan & Chris Hawkins for next week.
John Elliott told us how Dr. Charles Hollar started having meetings at the Holiday Inn & having the dues include our meals. Until then only 15 members attended most meetings. That was the start of the dynamic meetings we enjoy.
