Check Presentation:  Gina Voelz presented a $500.00 check to Tracie Hodson for Beaman Home.

Committee Reports:

  • Car Show was a huge success, we raised over $12,000 and had 157 vehicles register. Great job to Alan and Jenny and EVERYONE who helped make it a fabulous event! 
  • Golf Outing will be June 18th @ Stonehenge. Contact Everett Nifong if you are interested in volunteering, participating, or sponsoring the event in any way!
  • Triathlon will be held June 27th.
  • Sam Whitaker spoke for Scott Whataker regarding the Respect for Law event on May 30th. It will be at Pike Lake Beach from 9am-12pm.  There will be police vehicles on display, there will be a mock drowning, as well as taser and rubber bullet demos.

Favorite Optimist Memory-He laughs out loud every week, Ed Nordstrom’s car for sale and Three generations, Floyd, Charles and Steve Hollar.

Optimist Singers performed for Memorial Day this morning. They did an awesome job!  Thank you so much!
