Program: John Davis has written Outdoor Scene for the Times-Union since 1980. John had some inter-esting information. Polls show 80% of respondents believe it is important for people to have the ability to concealed carry. Eighty-five percent of respondents believe in a right for citizens to have firearms for law-ful purposes. Women are picking up guns at an in-creased rate. Last November the Federal Govern-ment did over 1.2 million gun checks.
Our Indiana DNR has done a great job with our fish-ery management and bringing turkeys back to Indi-ana.
John reminded us of a widow’s choice of the obituary for her husband, ―Matt is dead, boat for sale.‖
