34^th Annual Championship Big Wheel Race will be held on Friday, August 1^st. Registration is at 5:45pm and the race begins at 7pm. (Sponsors: Warsaw Breakfast Optimist, Penguin Point & Warsaw Parks & Recreation). Please see David Meier for more information.
The 2014-2015 Optimist Directory will underway soon. New pictures will be taken Aug. 6^th-Sept 3^rd. Ads are due by September 10^th. Update Member Information deadline is Sept. 17^th. Committee & Project info due by Sept. 17^th. Please see Dr. Jason Rich and Jim Hayes for more information.
Our Optimist Singers will start up again on August 13^th.

Spotlight:

Jim Reeve representing Cub Scout Pack 3736, gave a check in the amount of $100 back to Optimist for allowing the Cub Scout Pack to be involved in many of the events and help them raise funds. They really appreciate our group and wanted to give back to Optimist!

- Jim Reeve gave $1 to announce Cub Scout Pack 3736’s Annual Yard Sale will be held this Saturday, August 2^nd. They are looking for donations and can come and pick things up if need be.
- Juergen Voss gave to announce that the Water Ski Club will be hosting the National Championship this Saturday. Come on out and watch them it will be a great show!
