President Steve Hollar recognized Bob Bishop, Sam Whitaker, Jim Hayes and Lyle Enyeart for taking a Saturday for sound system improvement.
George Rinker announced the upcoming Fort Wayne Boat Show at the Memorial Coliseum, February 15-18. Discount tickets are available online.
Pam Galloway asked members to save the date for the 60th-anniversary party to be held on September 26th.
Dancing with the Stars for Charity – Jason Gergerly encouraged members to come out and support the event on February 17th. Tickets can be purchased through the Warsaw Performing Arts Center website. All proceeds raised will be donated to charities chosen by the contestants. Jason will be dancing in the event and has chosen CASA as his charity.
Tri-Star Basketball Competition for boys and girls 8-13 will be held Sunday, February 18, at Baker Youth Club. The event is free. Registration will be at 1:30 that day with the event from 2 to 3. Contact Chris Wiggins to volunteer or if you have any questions.

Sergeants-at-Arms: Sam Whitaker, Jeff Owens, Gina Voelz – Highlights included President Hollar being fined for bad use of alliteration, Non-Patriots being asked to represent, George Paton being fined for plugging the boat show – He said that was probably the cheapest advertising he’s seen, Dr. David Haines giving a happy dollar in honor of the Sacred Heart Boys and Washington Elementary Girls basketball teams winning the city tourney.
Program: Hoosier Youth Challenge Academy presented by Leslie Puglise, Northern Indiana Recruiter. The Academy for at-risk youth ages 16-18 is a 17 1/2 month program with enrolled students spending 5 1/2 months on campus followed by 12 months being monitored by a mentor. The program located in Knightstown, Indiana, is part of the National Guard. Two classes of students a year pass through the academy with a focus on 8 core components: physical training, life skills, leadership/fellowship, job skills, health & hygiene, academic excellence, responsible citizenship, and community service.
