- The 2014-2015 Optimist Directory will underway soon. New pictures will be taken Aug. 6th-Sept 3rd. Ads are due by September 10th. Update Member Information deadline is Sept. 17th. Committee & Project info due by Sept. 17th. Please see Dr. Jason Rich and Jim Hayes for more information.
- The 24th Annual Car Truck & Motorcycle Show presented by Baker Youth Club will be Saturday, August 23rd from 12pm-6pm. All proceeds goes back to BYC and their after school programs. They are looking for Optimist Volunteers to help with their big event. If you are interested talk to Tracy Furnivall.
- Mitch Goon’s father passed away, please keep the family in your prayers!
- Bill Katip said that Wayne Snyder sends his greetings and that Ila is not doing well, please continue to pray for them!

o Trace Hensen announced the International Skate Camp will be held at East Lake on Nov. 7-10th and they are looking for host families for the 100 skaters coming in from all over the world. Contact Trace if you are interested.
o Dr. Steven Hollar for being able to watch Duck Dynasty on the 18th hole.
o Akash Jain for school being back and his girls being back in school.
o Trace Hensen don’t cheer for Michigan or Ohio State, lost their quarterback.

Program:
Rebecca Bazzoni from Joe’s Kids presented this morning. Joe’s Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit pediatric rehabilitation facility serving the special needs children of Kosciusko County and surrounding area. They exist to help each child reach their full potential and to educate and support their families along the way.
