Warsaw Breakfast Optimist, May 27, 2020

We met today in a “hybrid” fashion, 45 of us met in person, while 24 met via “Zoom”.
Marty Becker was named Optimist of the Month
State Representative, Dave Wolkins, presented our program.

Optimist of the Month – Marty Becker

Sergeants – Members were charged a dollar for various trumped up charges.

Membership – Todd Davis, 3rd reading. Sally Scott, 1st reading.

Committee Reports

  • Virtual Triathlon – Paula reported that the virtual race can be completed until July 26
  • Golf Outing – Sub committees are meeting, September 14 is the date for the event.

Program – Dave Wolkins – Dave reported that he went to the State Legislature to stop various problems.  Dave created a tire tax to help get rid of the various tire piles around the state.He supported the 70 MPH speed limit Interstates.

He outlined the highlights of the latest session of the State Legislature.
