Announcements – Club will begin to meet at the Shrine Building, Wednesday, May 27 with many changes in our procedures, inching our way back to “normalcy”. Program on May 27 will be State Representative Dave Wolkins.
Steve McGlothlin passed away on May 4, 2020. Longtime member for over 40 years. The board voted to donate $150 to the scholarship fund in Steve’s name.
May 20, 2020 program will be Kelly Thompson. In recognition of Memorial Day there will be time allowed for members to share about a family member that has been lost in the line of duty.
Program – Alan Aladefer, Riley Radio Days. The fund was begun in 2010. Alan’s daughter has been impacted through the Riley Children’s Hospital. The family has made over 300 trips over the years to Riley for treatment. The focus for the Riley Children’s fund is to provide for any family from Kosciusko County to visit their child while in Riley Children’s Hospital. There were 173 trips funded last year through the Riley Children’s Fund.
Committee Reports:
Triathlon – The traditional Triathlon will be altered this year to be a Virtual event. The date of the Virtual event will be the same as originally scheduled.

Sergeants – Troy Akers and John Armacost were both fined for not mentioning Warsaw Breakfast Optimist in the newspaper articles that highlighted their accomplishments.
