At The Barn 1880: Historic Venue, our goal is to provide a distinctive location for hosts and their guests to make lasting memories. As a small, family-owned and operated business, we take pride in offering a landmark venue that is renowned for its historic charm, spacious facilities, and inviting grounds – a perfect setting for all of life’s special moments.
Our top priority is to deliver outstanding customer service. We are committed to providing a beautiful and adaptable space that can cater to a diverse range of events and gatherings.
The Barn 1880: Historic Venue has a fascinating backstory, once belonging to Sarah Ellen Pound, a prominent farmer in Kosciusko County. In recognition of her remarkable journey from a hired hand to a landowner of over 337 acres of prime real estate, she was featured in a full-page article in the Indianapolis Star newspaper in 1909. Today, Jon and Amanda Scroggs are writing a new chapter in this landmark’s history, dedicated to its preservation, restoration, and repurposing. https://www.thebarn1880.com/
