Trina Hoy invited us to register for the free Education Summit—Keeping Kids in School. It is 11/16 from 7am to 10:30am at Lakeland Christian Academy.
Lt. Gov. Jim Reeve thanked those who worked our District Meeting. He also awarded Jerry Titus for his reports & Everett Nifong, Sam Whitaker, John Elli-ott, Trina Hoy, Mitch Goon, & Fred Nieter for sponsor-ing new members. Jim also thanked our club for giv-ing $356 to OI & invited us each to give $36.50.
Jane Greene & Angie Tom asked us to sign up to work the Santa House. This year it is downtown the 1st weekend of December & at K-Mart the next 2 weekends. Thanks to Art Gakstatter & his helpers for moving it twice as often this year.
Past Pres. Bob Jackson & Jim Kessler announced this year’s Hoops For Hope tournament will be Nov 12 & 13 at the Orthopaedic Capital Center. Sponsor-ships are available at the $500, $250, & $100 levels. Donations are also accepted at the gate. Funds stay in our community through the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund.

Pres. Joel Wihebrink reminded us of our board meeting at 7pm Monday, Nov. 8.
Art Gakstatter thanked those who worked the down-town Spooktackular. Lots of kids were entertained.
Ron Chambers is leading a visit to the Middlebury club on Friday, Nov 5. He is leaving The Bowling Alley at 5:50am.
Luke Becknell asked us to bring our canned goods & donations for paper goods this month.
Merl Heckaman is looking for help ringing the bell for Salvation Army. Our day is Nov. 27.
Past Pres. George Brennan invited us to the CASA Wine Tasting fundraiser 11/12 at the Biomet Hanger. CASA donated a couple tickets to us. Merl Heckaman auctioned them off to Ot Schroeder for $55.
Martin Becker invited us to the free Grace Commu-nity Wind Ensemble ―Dance to the Music‖ concert 11/18 18 at 7:30pm at the Warsaw HS Performing Arts Center.
Sergeant-at-Arms: Max Mock, Denny Andrews & Dr. David Haines entertained us. Jim Reeve & John Teevan dressed up. John Burtoft is looking for his cat. Keegan Tom got straight A’s. Joe Sutton, John Teevan & John Elliott are happy the election is over for various reasons. 50/50: David Haines won $22.
