Stonehenge Golf Outing June 16: Everett Nifong is looking for help & sponsors at the $100, $450, $1000 levels. Please turn in your sponsorship right away, so signs can be made. Josh Gordon, Mike Cusick & Andy Swihart are looking for door prizes & items for the 80 goody bags. Golf is $360 a foursome or $90 per player. You can sign up as a team or an individ-ual.
Triathlon: Past Gov. Ron Donkers asked us to sign up next week for t-shirts. Jane Wear is getting the food lined up. If you are not signed up to work the 25th of June, Luke Becknell can connect you. We need everyone to work this event. It raises over $20k each year for the kids in our community. After we finish our tasks we need to pick up all the litter.
Sherriff of Attendance Bill Landrigan was glad to see 88 in attendance.
Visitation Chairman Ron Chambers invited us to visit the Warsaw Noon Club, Monday June 6 at Golden Corral.
Co-Chairman John Elliott thanked those who worked our Downtown Cruise In last Saturday. We had 129 cars including Dave Illingworth’s NASCAR entry. John & Co-Chairman Art Gakstatter are mailing tro-phies to our winners because of the rain. Next year we may move the event to a Sunday afternoon to accommodate more car owners.

Jay Tate thanked Trace Hansen for his years of or-ganizing our Safe Assured ID events. Jay & Lecia Derrossett are co-chairing Safe Assured. Volunteers are needed at Head Start, 811 S Buffalo St, Warsaw. Please contact Jay or Lecia to sign up for the 9:30am or 1pm shifts on May 26 or the 10am or 1:30pm shifts on June 1.
Ann Sweet reported that the Race for Trace that is being organized by Octagon member, Nate Stone, has 600 racers & has raised over $10,000 for the Kosc. Co. Cancer Care Fund. The race is May 30 at the Winona Lake Park at 9am.

Program: Martin Becker led our Optimist Singers as they sang the ―Star Spangled Banner‖ and ―The Mansions of the Lord.‖ The Lake Area Ban Brass Quintet of Martin Becker, Reg Smith, Barry Frisinger, Ray Maierle, & Greg Fryman played the ―Battle Hymn of the Republic”, “The Liberty Bell March”, and the ―Cohan Medley” of ―Give My Regards to Broad-way”, ―You’re a Grand Old Flag”, and ―I’m a Yankee Doodle Dandy.” We watched and participated in Red Skelton’s video about our Pledge of Allegiance. We heard a Memorial Day poem by a mature 3rd grade student. Martin & Reg closed the program with ―Taps.‖
