Martin Becker led us as we sang the birthday song with good results. Mystery Person: Bob Jackson reported 11 people shook his hand.

Past Gov. Ron Donkers reported $17,066.01 was raised at our Triathlon. We gave Ron a well de-served standing ovation for his many hours of work.
Our Optimist Singers will sing at 6:30pm, 10/15 at the Taste & Trade Expo at Grace’s OCC.
Tracy Horrell needs help for our Art in the Park from 10am to 1pm on Sept 11 at Center Lake Park.
President Sam Whitaker reported we will not have a morning meeting 9/29 since our awards banquet will be 6:30pm that night at Stonehenge. Our Optimist Singers will entertain us. Cost is $15 per person.
We will vote on our bylaws at our 10/6 meeting. Our next board meeting is 9/13 at 7pm. We need to pay our dues to cover our non-charity expenses.

Jerry Clevenger reported Octagon is starting up the 2nd & 4th Friday mornings at the high school. Jerry, Ot Schroeder, Mitch Goon, & Bob Jackson are work-ing with the kids. Encourage your high schools stu-dents to participate. The 1st meeting is 7am 9/10.

Bill also has Right to Life banquet tickets. John Elliott invited us to eat the buffet at Pizza Hut 9/13 for Baker Youth Club. Angie Tom relayed that the Har-rison PTO is selling Nelson’s 9/18. Joe Wilkey needs help packing meals 10/22 & 23. Gary Tanner won our 50/50.
