Prayer was offered by Fred Nieter. Pledge was given to the American Flag. Promise yourself was said in unison. Birthday Honorees: Steve McGlothin & Lyle Enyeart. Martin Becker led us with good results. Mystery Person Past Lt. Gov. Denny Andrews reported 21 people shook his hand.

Prayer List: Bill Hilliard’s family. Bill passed yester-day. Viewing is Friday from 4 to 8pm, with a Rosary at 7:30pm at McHatton-Sadler. Mass is at 10am on Saturday at Sacred Heart. Membership: Everett Nifong read Tony England’s 3rd reading. Tracy Horrell sponsored Tony. Everett Ni-fong announced we will do a golf outing to raise funds for the club as a whole. Jeff Neumann reminded us of our Valentine’s Din-ner, 2/10 at 6:30pm at Stonehenge. Our Optimist Singers will perform. There is no morning meeting.
50/50: This week Troy Akers won $43.50, which he gave to Joe Wilkey of World Compassion Network for Haiti. We are continuing with the 50/50.
Joy Lavender introduced us to Logan Brune, Joel Haines, Wesley Hapner, Brittany Hartwiger, Isaac Herendeen, Sarah Jungbauer, Taylor Kline, Anna McQuade, Ben Hudson, & Esther Perez who were our Students of the Week from Lakeland Christian Acad-emy. Susan McHenry & Tracy Horrell are coordinat-ing our awards.
New Car Show Fundraiser: Angie Tom reported Coach Jim Kessler is heading the cook off. Several jobs will be to: sell 150 $25 trophy sponsorships with John Teevan, prize committee, work the corn hole tournament with Doug Ogle, & advertizing. Call Art Gakstatter or John Elliott to help. Our 1st annual event is May 22 in downtown Warsaw. Cruisin’ Hoo-siers will help us. ML Motorsports will bring their car!
Past Pres. Jeff Owens asked for help Feb. 12 on our Oratorical Contest at Zimmer.
Chris Wiggins reported TriStar Basketball is Feb 6 at 9:30am at Baker Youth Club. The regional is also here Feb. 13 at 9:30am. Help is needed for both.
Octagon collected $223 from us last week for their Soup-er-bowl for food banks.
Stacey Cox saluted: Jon Lippe, who joined in 2006 & has headed Student of the Week, was a Vice-President & has worked TriStar Basketball. Stacey needs stories on Jim Jordan for next time.
John Elliott asked for volunteer proctors for the War-saw Education Foundation’s Community Quiz Bowl from 6pm to 10 pm on 3/23/10. Please sign up by emailing edfoundation@warsaw.k12.in.us.
Angie Tom asked for baby formula for Haiti. Rocky Goshert will collect it. Joe Wilkey said they are feed-ing 2 to 3,000 kids. Jon Fussle & Silveus Insurance are working with World Compassion Network.

Program: Eric Coburn, (Noon Optimist President) has been volunteering his time, plane, & gas to fly people to medical treatment with Angel Flight (www.angelflightcentral.org). They provide $3 of service for every $1 donated, because pilots like Eric volunteer their planes & gas in addition to their time.
