Local Picture The local Tri-Star Basketball winners from the local competition competed February 6th, 2010 at the Baker Youth Club to test their, dribbling, passing, and shooting skills against other local competitors ages 8-13. Many Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club members were on hand to volunteer their time as judges, scorekeepers, and organizers. 72 participants competed, with all of them receiving a t-shirt for participating and first, second, and third place finishers received trophies. The first place winners advanced to represent our club at the Regional competition.      Youth will use the same Swim, Bike and Run racecourse as the adults, but each event will be shortened. Youth waves will launch immediately after all adult waves. We will have over 100 experienced volunteers participating to help make this race THE BEST RACE OF YOUR RACING YEAR!

That is our goal. And when you cross the finish line, you will be treated to the best post-race food you can find at any Triathlon!

The Optimist Club is a not for profit that donates all proceeds of this race to our youth outreach programs in our community and we are well known in our area for our support of many youth oriented activities. Please feel free to investigate our website for a full list of these events.

The 2022 event MAY operate under COVID-19 protocols.  Our COVID-19 Safe event plan has been developed to manage the risks associated with the transmission of the virus. Central to the event’s COVID-19 safe event plan are the USAT Safe Return to Multisport initiative, which focus on tracing, education, enhanced hygiene, density reduction, touchpoint minimization, athlete self-reliance and screening. We understand some of these changes might impact your athlete experience; however, we ask for your understanding as we strive to mitigate risks so you can keep racing.
