Program:
Martin Becker introduced us to Dr. James Kraft from the Masterworks who gave us Masterworks history. In the 1970s Jim Kraft and Patrick Kavanaugh prayed for opportunities to advance both the love of God and the love of classical music. In the 1980s they started providing concerts in Washington D.C. In the 1990s the focus moved to young people with summer festivals. In 2002 they moved to Winona Lake. Top notch concerts are provided to the public at 7:30 p.m. on weekends from mid June to mid July. Most performances are at Rodeheaver.

Students are surprised by the quality of the instruction. Students also find others who love God and classical music. Many students find they are gifted at spiritual mentoring as they participate in a Bible study leadership program.

Past Lt. Gov. Mary Ellen Jordan mentioned the blessing they received housing parents who were visiting their students. Past President John Elliott volunteered that he and Elaine have had several students to their house for a meal.
