The Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club is encouraging area students to speak their minds as part of the 2013 Optimist International Oratorical Contest. Local winners will receive Awards and Prizes. 1st place contestants will qualify for zone or district level and the opportunity to win college scholarships. Students under the age of 19 as of December 31, 2013, are eligible to participate.
This year the contest is open to contestants up to 19 years old. Entry deadline is March 8 2013. Contact Jeff Owens 574.527.1387 for additional information or questions. All entries may be subject to a qualifier round to be held March 10, 2013.
