Once again, the Breakfast Optimist Club is sponsoring Santa’s House.
It will be at the courthouse this weekend before moving to its traditional location.
Santa will start accepting visitors Friday at the courthouse location during First Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Saturday, the house will be open from 2 to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Santa’s house then will move to its traditional location between Kmart and Hallmark for the remainder of the season. Hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Fridays, 2 to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
The Octagon Club, which is a high school group sponsored by the Optimist Club, will assist. The students will serve as Santa’s helpers.
I understand that things happen and schedules change, but why would you not indicate these changes on your site? We drove in to K Mart to see Santa tonight,Saturday the 22nd, only to find that the Santa House had not even been moved there from downtown. Try to explain that to two little boys who have always seen him there, when one of them is an eight year old that is Autistic. Very disappointing.
